Nina Greene focuses her practice on franchise, trademark and general commercial litigation. She has represented franchisors in state and federal, trial and appellate courts in Florida and throughout the United States in matters involving protection of trademarks and intellectual property rights, franchise terminations, discrimination claims, covenants not to compete, unfair competition, business torts and many other issues.

Nina is a member of the International Franchise Association Supplier Forum Advisory Board, is the chairperson for the South Florida Chapter of the Women's Franchise Network of the IFA, and is a member of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising. In addition, she served as a senior law clerk to the Honorable Robert N.C. Nix, Jr., Chief Justice of Pennsylvania. Nina is the chairperson for all Best Buddies Advisory Boards in the State of Florida.

Nina has spoken on numerous franchise issues, including covenants not to compete and material defaults of franchise agreements, as well as presenting the Judicial Update for the International Franchise Association's Legal Symposium. She has co-authored an article for the American Bar Association Franchise Law Journal entitled "May a Franchisor Veto a Franchisee's Assumption of a Franchise Agreement in Bankruptcy?" She has also co-authored other franchise-related articles, including "Don't Stop Me Now: Updating the Current Legal Status of Contractual Provisions Restricting Competition," "Frequently Arising Issues in Litigation" and "Franchise Defaults: Pulling the Trigger for ‘Material' Defaults and Strategies for Strengthening the Franchisor's Case."

Nina has been selected to appear in Best Lawyers of America, the "International Who's Who of Business Lawyers" and the "International Who's Who of Franchise Lawyers." In addition, she has been named a "Top Lawyer" by South Florida Legal Guide and has been recognized as one of the top franchise attorneys by Franchise Times.

Nina is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits. She earned her LL.M. in taxation from Temple University School of Law in 1997, her juris doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 1991 and her bachelor of arts from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988.
