Morgan H. Geller focuses her practice on franchise law, business and corporate transactions, and commercial litigation. Morgan has substantial experience advising franchisors on disclosure and sales compliance issues, preparing franchise disclosure documents and franchise agreements, and structuring the franchise relationship. She also represents franchisees, area developers and other multi-unit owners in evaluating and negotiating operative contracts.
Morgan handles a wide variety of general business transactions, including purchase and sale, licensing and branding, and vendor and supply agreements. In addition, she serves as outside legal counsel for numerous companies in the food and beverage, health and fitness, hospitality and retail industries. She has represented clients in state and federal courts and in arbitration proceedings throughout the United States.
Morgan is listed in Woodward/White's "The Best Lawyers in America," and has been named a 40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyer of Miami-Dade County. Additionally, she has been selected by Franchise Times as one of the nation's leading franchise attorneys and included as a "Super Lawyer" in Florida Super Lawyers. Morgan is a published author and has lectured in numerous forums including the ABA Franchise Law Journal, the International Franchise Association Legal Symposium, the ABA Annual Forum on Franchising, and the Florida Bar.
Morgan serves on the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors and is a board member of the Miami Arts & Business Council. She is an active member of the ABA Forum on Franchising, the Dade County Bar Association, and Business Network International (BNI) Miami Beach Chapter.
Morgan is a member of The Florida Bar and admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida. She received her juris doctor from Nova Southeastern University, magna cum laude, where she was an articles editor for the Nova Law Review. While in law school, Morgan was on the Dean's List, received the Merit Scholarship for Academic Achievement, and the Public Interest Fellowship Award. She earned her bachelor of science, magna cum laude, from the University of Florida.
