Lisa M. Castellano specializes in the areas of bankruptcy, creditors' rights and commercial litigation in the bankruptcy federal district and state courts. Lisa has extensive experience in representing creditors, business entities, trustees and other related parties in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy cases, and related adversary proceedings involving objections to discharge and dischargeability of debts, fraudulent transfer and preference actions, together with other contested matters. 

Lisa has also represented judgment creditors and judgment debtors in collection matters, including domestication of foreign judgments, garnishments, replevins, and proceedings supplementary.  In addition, Lisa's practice includes general corporate, real estate, community associations and family law matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Lisa was a successful solo practitioner and has had lengthy associations with two prominent Florida law firms. Lisa is also a Licensed Florida Real Estate Agent concentrating on commercial real estate sales and lease transactions.

Lisa is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Hispanic Bar Association and Hillsborough County Bar Association. 

Lisa is a member of the Florida Bar, District of Columbia Bar, and the State Bar of Texas.  She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida. Lisas earned her juris doctor degree from South Texas College of Law, where she was on the Dean's List, was the Director of Mock Trial Competition, the assistant director for the ABA Arbitration Negotiation Competition and was a director of the Board of Advocates. She is a graduate of the University of Florida, with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and was active in the Florida Blue Key.
